Google has sided with Apple in the iphone privacy case

Yesterday it was reported that the FBI is attempting for force apple to create a new version of IOS to bypass the current security protocols.

Today there is more development on this news story as Google’s CEO has now stepped in and made his voice public on the issue. Below you will see some of his tweets in response the the recent events.

Remember the saying “it only takes one, to screw it up for the rest.” Pay close attention to tweet 4/5. This is the head of the problem here. The government is forcing a company to create something completely new for it’s own purposes. They can do this through something called the All Writs Act.

All Writs Act

“The Supreme Court and all courts established by Act of Congress may issue all writs necessary or appropriate in aid of their respective jurisdictions and agreeable to the usages and principles of law. – wikipedia

The government is essentially forcing the company to aid them in this matter.

Two major companies have now voiced their opinions on the matter. People are speaking up. Is it time to reform some of these laws that give the government the power to force companies or people to do something they don’t want to?

What do you think of all of these recent events? Leave a comment below and let us know.
